Belmar welcomes delivery of brewhouse tanks

September 3, 2014

During the height of tourism season in Belmar, visitors and residents gathered August 26, when flatbed trucks delivered custom stainless tanks to be used to make Beach Haus beer at a building under renovation on Main Street. At approximately 8 a.m., three flatbed trucks began carting over the tanks, which were lifted by a crane and dropped through a temporary opening in the roof of the building. The tanks were installed on the second floor throughout the day.

The American-made tanks were manufactured as a custom-ordered high quality brewhouse system in Milwaukee and driven to Belmar. In a few weeks, the brewery will welcome a second delivery of tanks for the cellar, where the beer will be fermented and made ready for consumption. It is expected the brewery will be operational in the early fall; the building will also house other retail tenants that are expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks.

The project is owned and being developed by MB1 Capital Partners of Wall, investors and operators of high-quality commercial and residential properties. The principals of MB1 are also part owners of Beach Haus Beer.
